A major home improvement retailer and their buyer when we informed them that our product would allow their customers to store unused caulking for further use until it was used up, their reply to us was and I quote “Ideally we would prefer our customers to come in and buy another tube of caulk or construction adhesive.” 

That means that in order for them to sell more they would prefer their customers to throw away their unused caulking instead of storing it.

They don’t care about you saving money by reusing it, and show little concern about polluting the environment by throwing it away.
