Caulking Went Wrong

I witnessed a subcontractor working on an indoor Jacuzzi, hired by the homeowner, have a caulking mishap. As he completed the caulking, he put a rag over the caulking tube nozzle took two steps away. When he turned around to his horror, a glob of caulking had dripped on the homeowner’s brand new carpet. A new piece of carpet was spliced in to repair the damaged section.

The homeowner was not at all happy with the repair, it was noticeable and the damage had been done.
